Planning engineer

Our company:

BB Stanz- und Umformtechnik is a subsidiary of the Würth Group, with headquarters in Berga, Saxony-Anhalt. In the plastics production area, we mainly produce products made from thermoplastics such as containers, storage boxes, trays and other technical products. In the other production area of metal, we manufacture wood connectors and technical punched parts using the follow-on composite

process on state-of-the-art automatic punching presses.

You have in-depth expertise in production and will take on our work planning in the metal production area at the earliest possible opportunity.

Your role:

• Analysing the required assembly and installation steps
• Defining the work plan and schedule as well as creating itineraries and production schedules
• Determining the required staffing capacities or allocating staff
• Organising equipment and provision of material
• Creating parts lists, work plans and production orders
• Monitoring the production process and optimising the individual processes in the areas of production and assembly
• Developing solutions to problems

Personal skills:

• Strong communication skills, organisational skills, sense of responsibility
• Structured and independent working methods and assertiveness

Technical requirements:

• Preferably a completed technical training course (e.g. degree in mechanical engineering, construction, production, metal or plastics engineering)
• Further training as a planning engineer would be an advantage
• Alternatively, training as an industrial management assistant
• Secure grasp of ERP systems (SAP)
